Drawing With Old Art Supplies

Hello! It’s been a while!

Today I woke up thinking about all those art supplies I have that are 5+ years old. They are buried here and there underneath other supplies that I acquired more recently. I had to unearth them!!!

After gathering all together, I though it would be a cool idea to exercise my artistic part of the brain and sketch with them. As simple as that! But then, I realized that it would be even better if I recorded myself doing it.

Below you have two videos, the first one is about testing the materials and making notes, the second one is about sketching with them.

This was a good exercise for me because old art supplies open a new path to a wide array of possibilities. It was definitely fun! Maybe you also want to try it :)

Last, but not least, I have also posted some more sketches I did after recording the exercise. You’ll find them at the end.
