Handmade Halloween 2024
This year, my husband and I made Halloween extra special. We decided to dress as the Moon and the Sun, each carve our own pumpkin (a first for me!), and decorate our home for the holiday for the very first time.
For the Sun headpiece, I found inspiration on Pinterest and repurposed one of my husband’s old shirts and a pair of jeans as patterns for his costume. Creating the Moon headpiece was just as intricate, but the costume itself proved trickier due to the delicate fabric, which tore easily.
The whole process of making these costumes and celebrating Halloween as the Moon was such a joy!
